The SCHILLER Medical Research and Development team employs more than 30 engineers working on the future of medical devices. Our main goal regarding innovation has always been to reduce the weight and size of our devices, assisting emergency and healthcare professionals in their everyday jobs.
The substantial budget devoted to R&D at SCHILLER Medical allows us to develop innovation and to improve the technology of our devices.

The medical industry continues to thrive on innovation, driven by increased needs for preventative treatments, early diagnosis, reducing patient recovery time and improving patient outcomes. Technology and innovation have taken a huge place in the field and continue to challenge the profession. Sudden cardiac death and arrhythmia account for up to 20% of all deaths throughout the world according to academic research.
Defibrillators deliver an electrical shock to restore a patient’s normal cardiac rhythm and are a key medical equipment to sustain the patient’s life. We work closely with international healthcare professionals and institutions to continually improve our product effectiveness and secure a high and stable level of product quality.
